Consulting Engineering Services teamed with their sister company LMG and Muir Electric for this designbuild project and successfully completed a new 14kW rooftop PV system with a solar tracker. The rooftop system consists of 72 solar panels that will generate approxi mately 15,000 kwhr a year of power. One of the rooftop panels is dedicated to a new solar hot water system that includes a drain back tank in the janitors closet. This system will make enough hot water to support the buildings needs 50% - 75% of the year. CES was able to complete this project through the help of grants received from the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund.
